Queues

Queues filter

You can use quick filter with wildcards for queues to filter them. Use asterisk character '*' for zero or more characters. use question mark '?' for one character.

Delete message

You can delete messages from queue but there are two limitations. If you want to delete specific message knowing its id you also need to get valid 'popreceipt' from server before deleting the message. This means that getMessages operation must be performed. Azure Inspector invokes getMessages to get popreceipt for you. But getMessages returns only 32 messages at maximum. It may be a case that you see a message you want to delete, click delete it, Azure Inspector looks for first 32 messages but message you need is now beyond of 32 message boundary. As result you will see an error. Note that getMessages may affect other storage clients because getMessages makes result messages invisible for a short period of time and invaldiates old popreceipts.
See REST API information here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/dd179347.aspx

Clear queue

You can remove all queue messages by clicking 'Clear all messages'

Accounts

Development storage account

You can also connect to you local development storage. But please make sure that Azure Inspector is able to connect to it: either run project locally or use local proxy.
